Announcment for future of CCNZ

A meeting was held at church college on the evening of Tuesday 22nd July by the Area Presidency for the church in New Zealand to announce the future of the college buildings after the school closes at the end of the 2009 school year.

Elder Spencer Condie Area President and Elder Hans Sorensen a counselor in the presidency announced to those present that all the buildings on the campus site will be demolished after the closure of the school.

We will keep you informed of any further announcements or initiatives that may eventuate in the future.

As sad as this news has been to come to grips with there are some positives including;

1-A temple park to be developed as a memorial to the labour missionaries and college to include the Kai Hall the GRB.


2- The possibility of a special character school being built in the Temple View community which will be based on the core values of Church College.
