A Time For Family and Friends

Hi Everyone
I had a great time at the reunion. For me, my highlight was being with my family and friends at an event where the spirit was strong. I met up with many of you but sadly missed seeing many that I wanted to spend time with.

I wanted to take this time and space to express personally and on your behalf a sincere thanks to Ngatai Smith, Richard Ball, members of the previous board and all who helped keep us going as an Alumni Association over the past 5 years. They have led us well and we are most grateful to them.

A special thanks also to them and those others on the reunion committee who planned and executed a hugely successful reunion week. It was an inspiration to see such great team work in action. Well done to you all.

Now I am left with the honour of guiding us through the next five years. Even though our future is somewhat uncertain I have gathered around me a good group of people to see that matters of the Association are communicated to you all and that we can all look forward to some exciting times ahead.

I want you all to know I have a love for Church College and am grateful to have attended. I am also grateful to my sweetheart Vanessa and my children who are an important part of my life. But most of all I am grateful to my Heavenly Father and my Savior who makes all things possible.
